I had a blast staying at a floating hotel! Who needs solid ground when you can have a terrace on the water? The free WiFi is a nice touch, just in case I wanted to update my Instagram with a #floatinglife selfie.
I was so bummed that the boat didn't come with a private helipad. How am I supposed to arrive in style without one?

The location was great, allowing us to easily walk or drive to town and explore the surrounding area. The host and dog sitter were both friendly and helpful, and the boat was clean and well stocked with essentials. The breakfast panier provided by Sophie was amazing and worth the trip alone. Sleeping on a péniche for the first time was a unique and enjoyable experience.
Felt at home, nothing to complain about.
